It’s Wednesday, friends, which means it is time for another WWW Wednesday post!

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, all you have to do is simply answer the 3 W’s.

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

Pride and Premeditation by Tirzah Price- This is an ARC I received from NetGalley and I am absolutely loving it! This is a Pride and Prejudice retelling with a murder mystery thrown in. It’s very funny and clever, and also has some great feminist themes throughout! I’m hoping I’ll finish this today.

Sweet & Bitter Magic by Adrienne Tooley- This is another ARC that I am just having so much fun with. This is a standalone fantasy that follows two witches, one who steals love and one who is trying to save her father from a plague. I have no idea where this story will go but I am excited to see!

WHAT HAVE YOU RECENTLY READ?

A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St. Clair- I loved this one so much! This is a modern day Hades and Persephone retelling, and it was just so much fun. If you are looking for a trashy, flirty, fun new adult romance, this is definitely one to consider! I already put in a hold for book two through my library.

Raybearer by Jordan Ifueko- If you like well-thought out, intricate worlds, this is definitely a book for you! This is a high fantasy novel that takes inspiration from west African culture. I also really enjoyed this read, although it was a bit dense for me!

What Will You Read Next?

The Once and Future Witch by Alix E. Harrow- I have this book available for me through my library for another 10 days, so hypothetically I do want to get to it but I don’t know if I will. I’m not sure if I’m in the mood for another chunk fantasy novel right now, so I guess we’ll see! If you read it and think I should give it a chance, please let me know in the comments!

Allegedly by Tiffany D. Jackson- I love Tiffany D. Jackson, so this book will definitely be a priority for me this month (and I have to do a book review on it for school). This is another YA thriller/mystery, and I have high expectations.
