Hello friends! Welcome back to another WWW Wednesday post!

WWW Wednesday is hosted by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, all you have to do is simply answer the 3 W’s.

I love this tag so much because it is so easy and a great way to find book recommendations!

A Torch Against the Night by Sabaa Tahir- This is the sequel to An Ember in the Ashes, one of my favorite fantasy books of the year! I’m about 50% of the way through the book right now. I am enjoying this one, although it is taking me a bit longer to work through because of current events. I am excited to see where the story goes though!

Gods of Jade and Shadow by Silvia Moreno-Garcia- This is my second attempt at this book, I tried to pick it up last month but couldn’t get into it. I just picked it up for the second time yesterday, and although I am understanding it a bit more, I’m still having trouble connecting to the characters and story. I’m going to try to push through ’til the end, but I wouldn’t be too shocked if this became a DNF.

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune- I was looking for a stress relieving read, and this is exactly what I needed. This was just the most heart warming, charming, whimsical book! I finished it days ago and I still feel like I cannot form a coherent thought about it. Just, please read this book if you haven’t!

The Black Flamingo by Dean Atta- I kind of picked this up on a whim, but I am very happy that I did! This is a book written in verse about a British, Black gay man who learns to express himself through drag. This was unlike anything I’ve read before, and I’m happy I picked it up!

The Queen of Nothing by Holly Black- This is the conclusion to The Folk of the Air series, which I overall really enjoyed. Objectively, this isn’t the greatest trilogy and the romance is quite messed up, but it is very addictive and I just love the atmosphere of Elfhame. I liked this conclusion and it left me satisfied!

Legendborn by Tracy Deonn- I am feeling a bit slumpy, which isn’t good since there are so many books I want to read by the end of the year! I have heard so many good things about this book, so I think it sounds like a good one to get me out of my slumpy mood!

Dear Haiti, Love Alaine by Maika Moulite and Maritza Moulite- I haven’t heard much about this book, but I put in a loan for the audiobook at my library a few months ago and it’s finally ready!

Leave your WWW Wednesday’s in the comments below! And of course, happy reading!
