2020 has been a year filled with some amazing releases! (@ You Deserve Each Other, If I Never Met You, Anna K). Since the year is over halfway over, I have compiled a list of a few books with release dates coming up that I am SO excited for!

This book is being released August 25, right around my birthday! So I have added it to pretty much all of my birthday lists. I heard this is a Phantom of the Opera/ Moulin Rouge type story written by a Filipina author? That literally sounds like anything I would ever want. Also, that cover? I am deceased.

Okay, so I absolutely adored Well Met by Jen DeLuca, so I am so excited for this companion novel! I have never been into renaissance fairs or anything of the sort, but in this world I couldn’t help but fall in love with them! I don’t know what this book is about at all, but I have a feeling I will love it as much as I loved the first book in the series.

Listen, my knowledge about this book is very limited but I am still so excited. This is a contemporary YA romance set in NYC written by a Black author- PLUS the main female character has the same hairstyle as me. I can’t wait to get my hands on this!

This is the sequel to Crown of Coral and Pearl (full review here), a book I surprisingly really enjoyed! I really liked the world and the magical elements the author incorporated, so I am excited to read the conclusion to this duology!

Okay, even if this book had a ridiculous plot, I can guarantee you I would still buy it because look at that cover! Lucky for us, the plot sounds intriguing and Tiffany D. Jackson’s other books have also been action packed and exciting!

An anthology of experiences from immigrants? Need I say anymore? Sign me the heck up.

Give me ALL the cute rom-coms! I think this is an enemies to lovers story and the main character is Filipina, and look at that cover! I am also a fan of any book that involves food, so I am super excited for this one!

This is the companion novel/sequel to Wicked Fox, a Korean fantasy I read earlier this summer and loved! (Full review here). I am so excited to be back with this characters in this super fun world inspired by Korean mythology. Also, that cover?! 2020 releases are really popping off with these beautiful covers.
